Hey gang. I hope everyone who reads this is doing great (everyone else can feel bad). This past month of April has really opened my eyes to how complex, energy draining, emotional, and how much all photography is truly an art form. I have started buying many UK-based magazines focused solely on Digital SLR photography, with some aimed more towards the Photoshop crowd. Each photographer I meet, magazine I read, or comment I receive is helping me find my place in the design of things, teaching me how I want my photos to impact people. It is still very much a process, and it seems like it will take years until I have the proper state of mind (and equipment) I will need to really capture what I see in my mind. But this will not stop me. My dedication is higher than it has ever been in light of inspiring photography, and I have no plan of losing an ounce of passion for it. I thank everyone for their constant encouragement and telling me your experiences through my photography and stories. Words can't describe how much it helps me keep shooting.


Strive for Love.

My dreams have finally come to fruition. At least the starting stages. I stayed up until 2:30 am yesterday and for about five hours today working on my first SIP (or Story in Photography). The idea of SIPs came about when I realized that I wanted to combine my love for creative writing with my separate but equal love of photography, making them one. Today, The Abandoned Farm Series, has sprung up out of the ground. It still needs much water and sunlight in these first stages, and in later stages it will need pruning, but I can say that I am happy with the results so far. There are still so many images in my head that I want to create but I don't know how to just yet, and there are so many words in me that want to be released into the open. But it is not there time yet. And I am confident that soon enough I will find my way in photography, sifting through the styles and eventually making my own. I remain hopeful for the future and content with my present situation. Join me in my journey through inspiration, through stories, through life. Thanks for reading.

After months of searching for a great deal, I finally bought my Canon EOS 40d. It is a beautiful (if not HUGE) camera that I am in much joy and excitement over and I plan to use it to take some great pictures. I have taken about 1200 so far, only about a 100 of those I can salvage into atleast something.....but I understand its a learning process. It will take time to shape the pictures in what I want them to be; to be about stories, to be about something more than ourselves. I am excited to have the opportunity to inspire others the way that they have inspired me.

I've needed to update this for awhile now. so much is going on in my creative venture and i dont bother to tell all of you about it? shame on me.

Many of the artists on the site have inspired me, both through their words and their art, to become my own artist. what that means to me is coming into my own, combining my personality and experiences into my art making, creating new creative works. i love the constant inspiration im getting from the music i love, the people i respect, and the God whose hands i put my life into.

I thank those who supporting and encouraging me along the way.....and i promise to keep working hard in my art for all of you. including myself.
