The Abandoned Farm Series

My car has been coming to this point in its life for years now: death. I coast to the side of the road until the car comes to a stop. I sit still, wanting to be frustrated but being unable to. I reach my hand toward the latch and pull myself out of the car. As I stand up, I notice a scene that seems strangely familiar, but how can it be? I am a thousand miles away from my home. My family. My friends.

This doubt doesn't stop me: for some reason this place seems to be why I have traveled all this time. These thousand miles.

One word envelopes my mind, and this place: destruction.
