Abandoned Farm Series 8

The path is long. The scenery grows tall and fades out; it seems to get lighter in some areas and then brings me to total darkness in others. I am only walking but all of a sudden I feel the need to take a rest. My hands on my knees, I once again take in deep breaths of the tree's extraments. My eyes are somehow guided to a shallow river to my left, and it takes me a moment to find out what the object in the water was: the first casualty of the storm. Usually I am not affected by dead animals, but this disturbs me deeply. I stand up and switch my pace.
